The Planet-Earth-Simulator Project is an official project of the Frankfurt based Institut of New Media, which is a non-profit organization. The Planet-Earth-Simulator Project lives from the donation of the people which uses it, donations given as work or as money. There is an account only for this project (see below), controlled by a board, and quarterly we will publish a financial report. In Germany the tax office acknowledges donations thus that You can get a certificate for your tax report. Besides this we can participate in other kinds of funding in the realm of research. These fundings we will also report here.
